Zhou Shenglan holds a BA in Portuguese Language and Culture, a MA in Asian Studies and a PhD in Communication studies. She is a lecturer of the MA in Asian Studies at the Faculty of Human Sciences of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon. Her research interests include propaganda and misinformation, nationalism in education systems and media ecology in authoritative regimes.
