Noha Mellor (PhD, University of Copenhagen) is currently a Professor of Communications at the University of Sharjah, UAE. She began this role in September 2022 after having been affiliated with various universities in the UK, Sweden, and Denmark. Mellor also has professional experience in journalism and has contributed to international media outlets such as the New York Times, Reuters, and Financial Times. She is an expert in Arab affairs, having authored 11 books and numerous academic articles about Arab media and culture.
