Dr. Netina Tan is a University Scholar and Associate Professor of Political Science at McMaster University, ON Canada. Her research focuses on the sources of authoritarian resilience and political representation of women and ethnic minorities, especially in East and Southeast Asia. She is working on the impact of digital technology and social media, especially in authoritarian regimes.
