Associate professor of Law, Economics, and Technology. Deputy director of the Law, Science and Technology at the Catholic University of Chile. I am a Chilean lawyer with a Master of science in Finance and an SJD candidate in the Regulation of AI in Finance at Shanghai Jiaotong University. My current work focuses on data protection, regulation of artificial intelligence, empirical legal research, and Catholic Social Thought.I teach the following courses: data protection law, regulation of AI, Blockchain and some of its legal problems, Economic Law I, Economic Law II, Fintech, and Cyberwar and Cyberterrorism.My last publications have been about: -Limits of Liberty and the use of AI, a critique based on Catholic Social Thought.- Data retention by the National Prosecutor Office, limits by Human Rights and Data Protection- Powers and Principles: Engineering Frameworks to Guide the New Neuroethics of Enhanced Warfare
