Jakub Šrol is a senior researcher at the Institute of Experimental Psychology, Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences, Slovak Academy of Sciences. In his dissertation, he focused on the individual differences in susceptibility to cognitive biases. His current research is devoted to examining social causes and consequences of belief in conspiracy theories, especially at the level of interpersonal and intergroup relations. He is a member of several scientific organizations, such as the International Society of Political Psychology, Slovak Reproducibility Network and Psychological Science Accelerator. He is passionate about open science and the popularization of science for the general public.
