I'm an OSINT researcher working in the non-profit sector in the topic of disinformation, big tech accountability and hate speech on social media. Currently, I work at the NGO Ek_, and previously at Avaaz and before that, as an academic researcher at GVCes, the Sustainability Centre of Funda��o Get�lio Vargas (FGV)

Flora Rebello Arduini is a business and international human rights law expert and focuses her work on the spread of disinformation on social media, its impacts on society at large and the efforts to regulate the industry.Flora has been working on advocacy and public mobilization for years to make sure people�s demands are taken to decision-makers - including public authorities, lawmakers, and executives.In 2018, Flora created a methodology using OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tools to map coordinated networks creating and amplifying disinformation and hate speech online ahead of crucial elections. The European Commission and the United Nations have cited investigations she has led, which have also been featured by top media outlets including TIME, Washington Post and The New York Times.Born in Brazil, Flora currently lives in London. She holds a Cum Laude LLM in Globalization and Law specializing in International Human Rights Law from Maastricht University, and a Full Honors BA in International Science and European Institutions specializing in International Organisations from Universit� Statale di Milano. Flora has authored academic articles, including for the Amsterdam Law Review, and several opinion pieces, for publications such as Folha de S. Paulo (see list of published work).
