Dr Enock Sithole holds a PhD in climate change communication, having researched the communication of the climate crisis in South Africa. He obtained his doctorate at the University of the Witwatersrand. His BA (Honours) and Master�s degrees were also awarded by the same institution in journalism and media studies. Dr Sithole is a former journalism lecturer at the Wits Centre for Journalism, the University of the Witwatersrand. He is the executive director of the Institute for Climate Change Communication (ICCC). The ICCC works to raise awareness about climate change through research and training of media and communication professionals. He researches on climate change journalism, communication, climate change adaptation, and community media. Enock is a veteran journalist and communicator, having worked as a journalist and communication executive in several institutions, including the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and the Constitutional Assembly.
