Dr. Daniel Oloo Ong�ong�a (Ph.D) is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of communication and digital media. He earned his Ph.D. from the Communication University of China. Dr. Ong�ong�a also holds an MSc in Communication Studies and a BSc in Communications and Public Relations from Moi University, Kenya. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at Mount Kenya University in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, and a coordinator for Research, partnership, conferences and scholarly publication at School of Social Sciences. His research interests include digital media, digital diplomacy, and contemporary issues in communication as well as intergrating Artificial Intelligent (AI) in academia and media organizations. Dr. Ong�ong�a has contributed significantly to the academic community through his research on topics such as online news media framing, digital diplomacy, and the role of social media in spreading misinformation. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Ong�ong�a has been involved with various international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) to promote information media literacy in Kenya1. He is also a research fellow at the Afro-Sino Centre of International Relations (ASCIR) and has received accolades for his contributions to the field.
