Doctor in Philosophy of Science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, currently a full-time professor-researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potos�. She has PRODEP Desirable Profile Recognition, and belongs to the National System of Researchers, level 1. Her general research topic is human reasoning and the characterization of its normativity. Her research emphasizes the relevance of integrating the evolutionary, material, social, and cultural aspects of cognition to achieve a better understanding of how reasoning abilities are learned, developed, deployed, and modified in practice. To this end, her work addresses various disciplines, mainly the philosophy of science, cognitive psychology, philosophy of economics, and public communication of science.
