"Amanda is an early career PhD researcher at Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. Currently, she is undertaking an interdisciplinary PhD between Psychology and Journalism & Media on topics of fake news, culture, and decision-making. As a U.S. citizen residing in the U.K., she is interested in highlighting cultural nuances around information discernment of topics like news within these two populations. This includes using novel methodologies like online eye-tracking to better understand how information is disseminated differently. She has a special interest investigating research for better decision-making within cybersecurity spheres in organisations as part of wider sociotechnical systems.
