Dr. Lisa Schirch is Richard G. Starmann Sr. Endowed Chair and Professor of the Practice of Peacebuilding at the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs where she directs the Peacetech and Polarization Lab. A former Fulbright Fellow in East and West Africa, Schirch is the author of ten books, including The Ecology of Violent Extremism in 2018 (Rowman and Littlefield), Synergizing Nonviolent Action & Peacebuilding (USIP) and Social Media Impacts on Conflict and Democracy in 2021 (Routledge).
