Kath Albury is Professor of Media and Communication at Swinburne University of Technology. She is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow and an Associate Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADMS), where she co-leads the ADMS Signature Project �Critical Capabilities for Inclusive AI�. Her Fellowship research investigates impacts of digital transformation on the sexual and reproductive health workforce, and supports the development of digital and data capabilities for health professionals and consumers. Other projects investigate young people�s practices of digital self-representation, and the role of digital technologies (including sextech, social networking platforms and dating apps) in formal and informal sexual learning, health, safety and wellbeing practices. Her recent co-authored books include: Everyday Data Cultures (with Jean Burgess, Anthony McCosker and Rowan Wilken, Polity 2022) and Data for Social Good: Non-Profit Sector Data Projects (with Jane Farmer, Anthony McCosker and Amir Aryani, Palgrave Macmillan 2023).
