Maureen (Mo) Johnson León is a doctoral candidate in data science. Her work focuses on infectious disease epidemiology and its dynamic relationship to history, infrastructure, policy, and a changing climate. Dissertation research projects have been chosen so that they center collaboration across disciplines and are often designed in partnership with non-academic organizations to support the development of collaborative data fluency in the sciences.
